What Is Pelican?
Pelican is a modern fork of Pterodactyl built by people who maintained the original project. It keeps the ideas that made Pterodactyl popular, game servers in isolated Docker containers managed from a clean web panel, and pairs them with a refreshed interface and a simpler installation.
If you have used Pterodactyl, Pelican will feel familiar. Game templates, subusers, schedules, and backups all work the way you expect.

Pelican Features
Modern interface
A refreshed admin and player facing panel that is quick to navigate on desktop and mobile.
Egg compatible
Runs Pterodactyl style eggs, so templates for popular games carry over.
Isolated containers
Every game server runs in its own Docker container with its own resource limits.
Live console
Watch output, send commands, and restart servers from the browser.
Schedules and backups
Automate restarts, tasks, and backups per server.
Team access
Subusers with granular permissions for moderators and co-admins.
Who Pelican Is Best For
- Players who want a current, actively developed panel
- Pterodactyl users curious about the fork
- Anyone starting fresh who prefers the newer interface
