A Dedicated Home for Your Personal AI

OpenClaw is a self-hosted gateway that connects the chat tools you already use to an AI agent. ARPHost automates the initial VPS deployment so you can spend your time choosing a model provider, connecting channels, and deciding what your assistant is allowed to do.

01

Choose Resources

Select the CPU, RAM, NVMe storage, hostname, bandwidth, and optional management level that fit your expected workloads.

02

We Provision

After payment and order verification, automation creates the VPS and prepares OpenClaw. Most orders complete in approximately 5–10 minutes.

03

Connect & Use

Complete onboarding, add your model provider credentials, connect an approved chat channel, and begin with a simple test conversation.

Bring Your Assistant Into the Tools You Use

OpenClaw can act as the bridge between supported messaging channels and the AI model provider you select. Your dedicated VPS keeps the gateway under your control and gives you room to configure skills, workspaces, automations, and integrations.

  • Connect supported channels such as Telegram, Discord, Slack, Signal, WhatsApp, and others
  • Choose the model provider and credentials that fit your workflow
  • Organize files and durable instructions in your private workspace
  • Build task-oriented skills and automations with explicit permissions
  • Maintain the VPS with full root access and optional managed assistance

Practical AI Help, Available From Your Chats

Start with one useful workflow, verify its permissions, and expand as you gain confidence. The exact capabilities depend on the model, channels, skills, and external services you connect.

💬

Chat From Anywhere

Reach your assistant from supported messaging channels instead of opening a separate tool for every request.

📅

Plan & Organize

Connect approved calendar, email, note, or file workflows to help summarize information and prepare next actions.

⚙️

Automate Repetition

Create carefully scoped skills for repeatable work, notifications, status checks, or internal processes.

🏠

Self-Hosted Control

Run the gateway on your own ARPHost VPS with root access and control over its configuration and update schedule.

🔌

Flexible Providers

Bring credentials for a supported AI model provider and change your configuration as your needs evolve.

🛡️

Permission-Aware Setup

Use separate service accounts, least-privilege access, and narrowly scoped skills to reduce unnecessary exposure.

Flexible OpenClaw VPS Resources

Start with the resources you need today, then choose a larger configuration for more users, channels, concurrent workflows, local services, or heavier automation.

What Else Will I Need?

A model provider: Bring an account and API credentials for a supported AI provider. Provider charges are separate.

Channel credentials: Connecting Telegram, Discord, Slack, or another service may require a bot, app, token, or account from that service.

A security plan: Decide who may reach the assistant and which data, commands, and external services it may access.

Optional assistance: Managed services can be selected during configuration when you want additional server-side operational help.

How to Start Using OpenClaw

Open a step when you need it. Exact screens and commands can change between OpenClaw releases, so use the credentials delivered with your VPS and compare advanced settings with the current OpenClaw documentation.

1. Find your VPS and OpenClaw access details

After provisioning completes, review the service details and delivery email in your ARPHost client account. Save the server IP or hostname, root credentials, OpenClaw access URL, and any first-login information in a password manager. Do not share the root password in chat.

2. Secure the VPS before connecting accounts

Change temporary credentials, use a unique administrator password, configure SSH keys where practical, and limit network access to what you actually need. Keep OpenClaw and the operating system updated. If multiple people will use the service, create separate identities rather than sharing administrator access.

3. Complete OpenClaw onboarding

Open the delivered OpenClaw interface or connect to the VPS as instructed. Follow the onboarding flow to create the gateway configuration and workspace. OpenClaw’s recommended command-line onboarding uses openclaw onboard --install-daemon when a command-line setup is required.

4. Add an AI model provider

Select a supported model provider and add credentials using OpenClaw’s configuration or secrets workflow. Use a dedicated key with spending limits where the provider supports them. ARPHost hosting does not include model credits, API usage, or a third-party AI subscription.

5. Connect your first messaging channel

Begin with one supported channel. Create the required bot or application with that provider, add its token through the OpenClaw configuration, restrict allowed users or groups, and send a simple test message. Add more channels only after the first one behaves as expected.

6. Create a safe first workflow

Start with a low-risk, read-only task such as summarizing a note or answering from a small test folder. Confirm what data the assistant can see and what actions it can take. Require confirmation before high-impact actions such as sending messages, modifying files, running commands, or changing external accounts.

7. Maintain, back up, and troubleshoot

Keep a record of your configuration, provider settings, workspace, and recovery steps. Review logs when a channel does not connect, confirm tokens and permissions, and verify DNS or firewall rules. Test restoration from backup before relying on it. For server provisioning or network help, contact ARPHost; for changing OpenClaw behavior, consult the current OpenClaw documentation.

OpenClaw VPS Questions

How quickly will my OpenClaw VPS be ready?

Most verified orders are automatically provisioned in approximately 5–10 minutes. Payment verification, manual review, or unusual configuration requests can extend that time.

Are AI model credits included?

No. The service includes the VPS and pre-installed OpenClaw environment. You supply any supported AI provider account, API credentials, credits, or subscription and pay that provider separately.

Which chat services can I connect?

OpenClaw supports a growing selection of channels including Telegram, Discord, Slack, Signal, WhatsApp, Matrix, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, and others. Availability and setup requirements can change, so confirm your intended channel in the current OpenClaw documentation.

Is OpenClaw safe to connect to my accounts?

Any assistant that can read data or take actions requires careful configuration. Use dedicated accounts, least-privilege permissions, restricted users, spending limits, and confirmation for high-impact actions. Only connect services and skills you understand and trust.

Is the VPS managed?

The base plan provides a pre-installed OpenClaw VPS with root access. Optional managed services are available during configuration. The exact operational scope depends on the option selected with your order.
