Built for Growth: Inside Our New Data Center Expansion

We’re continuing to expand and this next phase is a meaningful step forward in both capacity and flexibility for our clients.

As demand for reliable, scalable infrastructure grows, this expansion is designed to support modern deployment needs across dedicated servers (bare metal), colocation, and full rack environments.

Our infrastructure spans facilities in downtown Tampa: 655 North Franklin Street and 400 North Tampa Street.

These locations are being integrated through planned dark fiber connectivity, creating a unified, multi-building data center environment with enhanced redundancy, scalability, and provider diversity.

This expansion strengthens our Tampa footprint while giving clients more flexibility in how they deploy, scale, and manage infrastructure.

A New Private Cage for Dedicated Infrastructure

At the center of this expansion is a newly developed footprint featuring a private cage.

This environment is purpose-built to support dedicated servers (bare metal), dedicated server colocation, and managed shared colocation deployments.

For customers looking for a fully provisioned solution, our dedicated server (bare metal) offerings provide high-performance infrastructure without the need to invest in or manage physical hardware. These deployments can be delivered as fully managed or unmanaged, depending on operational requirements.

For customers seeking maximum control, our dedicated server colocation offering includes:

  • Redundant A+B power
  • Protected IPMI access
  • Redundant network connectivity

This model is ideal for organizations that want full ownership of their hardware while leveraging a secure, high-performance data center environment.

For organizations looking to reduce internal management overhead, our managed shared colocation environments provide the same resilient foundation, with the added option of value-added managed services such as:

  • Remote hands and smart hands support
  • OS deployment, patching, and maintenance
  • Proactive monitoring and alerting
  • Backup and disaster recovery services
  • Security hardening and compliance support
  • Network administration and firewall management
  • Hardware replacement coordination and lifecycle support

This approach allows clients to offload day-to-day infrastructure management while maintaining flexibility and scalability as their needs evolve.

Full Rack Colocation with Direct Access

In addition to the private cage, we’re introducing full rack colocation availability outside of the enclosed environment.

This option is ideal for clients who:

  • Require direct physical access to their hardware
  • Prefer independent infrastructure control
  • Need flexibility beyond shared or enclosed deployments

By offering both private cage colocation and open rack options, we’re creating a more flexible infrastructure model that adapts to different operational needs.

Expansion Timeline and Build Progress

This data center expansion is already in motion:

  • Floor plan: finalized
  • Rack construction: currently underway
  • Estimated availability: within the next few weeks

We’re moving quickly while ensuring the environment is fully production-ready built to support enterprise-grade colocation and bare metal deployments from day one.

Enhancing Connectivity with Dark Fiber

Looking ahead, this expansion includes plans for dark fiber connectivity between 655 North Franklin Street and 400 North Tampa Street.

This will enable:

  • Greater network diversity
  • Improved redundancy and resilience
  • Access to a broader range of connectivity providers

By linking the two facilities, we’re creating a more resilient and flexible multi-building connectivity ecosystem designed to support modern infrastructure demands.

What This Expansion Means for Clients

This expansion isn’t just about adding space, it’s about building a more scalable and adaptable infrastructure platform.

With a combination of:

  • Dedicated servers (bare metal)
  • Private cage colocation
  • Full rack availability
  • Managed and unmanaged deployment options
  • Multi-building connectivity across downtown Tampa

We’re continuing to evolve the platform to support everything from single deployments to fully managed, multi-rack infrastructure at scale.

As this new footprint comes online, clients can expect more flexibility, greater control, and a stronger foundation for growth.
