ARPHost was founded in 2015 in Clearwater, Florida, originally providing web hosting and technical support to friends and family. Since then, we’ve evolved into a full-service hosting and managed services provider, now based in Durango, Colorado. Our infrastructure is built on powerful bare metal and virtual servers, with a core focus on Proxmox-based virtualization and private cloud deployments.

Barry Stetler

Barry Stetler is a seasoned IT executive with over two decades of experience in hosting, infrastructure, cloud computing, and managed services. After founding and successfully growing Pinellas Hosting, LLC, he led the company through its acquisition by GSA Applications in 2012. He then joined Hivelocity, where he transitioned from managing SparkNode.com to building and scaling the company’s DevOps, Security, and Internal Support teams. His leadership ultimately earned him the role of VP of Corporate Engineering, where he helped guide the company through enterprise compliance, private cloud deployments, and security initiatives. Following Hivelocity’s acquisition by ColoHouse in 2024, Barry returned his focus to ARPHost with a renewed mission: to deliver customized, meaningful service with the same innovation and technical precision that has defined his career. With hands-on experience in technologies like Kubernetes, Proxmox, and Asterisk PBX, and certifications in Microsoft systems and electronic engineering, Barry brings strategic vision and deep technical knowledge to every project.

CTO

Dejan "Dan" Protich

Dan Protich brings over 20 years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure design, and data center operations to his role as Chief Technology Officer at ARPHost. With a strong background in architecting datacenter level hosting environments, Dan has held key technical leadership roles across the industry including as Senior VP of Network and Infrastructure at Hivelocity, where he helped scale global data center operations and built the foundation for their bare metal and virtualization platforms as well as designed and deployed multiple DWDM networks on leased dark fiber in multiple cities with Tbps of network capacity throughout multiple regions. An expert in network design, storage systems, and large scale server deployments, Dan has deep hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, private and public cloud strategies, and high-availability hosting architecture. At ARPHost, he leads infrastructure strategy and platform engineering, driving innovation across our Proxmox-based virtualization clusters, cloud orchestration, and secure managed services stack. Based in Florida, Dan works closely with the ARPHost team to deliver reliable, high performance infrastructure to clients worldwide with an unwavering focus on performance, security, and uptime.
